THE DJ HANGOUT / VERIFIED EVENT BACKGROUND
Vampire cinema becomes the setting for an actual house-and-techno rave
Blade Rave at WAVE in Wichita is a themed electronic DJ event on Wednesday November 25, 2026. The organizer advertises DJs playing techno, house and other EDM subgenres alongside dark visual effects and costume performance. The primary EVENTIM ticket page confirms 7 p.m. doors, an 8 p.m. show and an 18-and-over entry rule.
The production takes inspiration from the famous nightclub scene in the movie Blade, using dance-floor visuals, go-go performers and a timed midnight theatrical effect. The scheduled midnight “bloodbath” is not an additional announced musical performer or a confirmed specific DJ set time. The promoter states that participants near the effect might get wet and advises guests about costume and clothing risks.
Despite the gothic styling, the event qualifies because the listed music program explicitly includes DJs performing techno and house. The full individual DJ lineup has not been published; The DJ Hangout will not assign stage names to the program from unrelated online playlists or venue history.
