BURLINGTON BLACKOUT — RAVE TO THE GRAVE

THE DJ HANGOUT / VERIFIED EVENT BACKGROUND

Vermont has its own electronic DJ community—and this is its Halloween showcase

Burlington Blackout is an 18+ electronic music showcase booked at Higher Ground’s Ballroom in South Burlington on October 24, 2026. The venue and its authorized Eventim purchase page advertise an independent Vermont dance-music night spanning house, techno, dubstep and drum & bass. The focus is local artists, not an imported festival-headliner roster.

The announced lineup consists of Matt Payne, Reign One, Ron Stoppable, Skipipop, Vetica and VIU. The ticketing biography identifies Matt Payne as an established Burlington DJ and says Vetica mixes DJ sets with electronic performance tools and visuals. Promoter biographies provide useful leads, but their career claims need separate verification before becoming definitive artist histories.

This is a different event from the reggaeton-focused Spooky Perreo happening at Higher Ground on the same night. The DJ Hangout electronic filter includes Burlington Blackout and does not silently merge unrelated parties because they share a venue.
