About the event

THE DJ HANGOUT / ORIGINAL EVENT REPORTING

Two Chicago nights, two different sets, and the debut of Levity’s Octobot.

Snow Day 3 takes over Navy Pier’s Festival Hall on January 29–30, 2027. This is a newly advertised production, not just an old festival date repeated in a calendar.

STORY 01

What makes this show different

Navy Pier’s event announcement says Levity will premiere The Octobot, the trio’s newest live-production concept following Lasership. The two evenings are intended to have distinct sets, along with a secret back-to-back performance and expanded visual production. Guest identities and set times remain unannounced, so the only named act on this listing is Levity.

STORY 02

The route back to Chicago

Levity’s three members—John Hauldren, PJ Carberry and Josh Tarum—formed the project in 2019. Their 2024 Electric Forest appearance followed a late festival slot opening that helped introduce a wider audience to the group’s dubstep-and-future-bass sound. Their home-city booking now occupies Festival Hall, not the Pier’s smaller ballroom.

STORY 03

Know before buying

Both January 29 and January 30 are 18+ dates. The venue advertises two distinct performances, so selecting the correct night matters. The official purchase link connects to the specific Snow Day 3 ticketing entry, not a generic concert directory.

Last editorial verification: October 16, 2026. Lineups, set times and sales status can change. No speculative future performers have been added.

Artist spotlight: Three friends built an electronic trio, then found themselves answering the kind of call that can change a career: a last-minute opening at Electric Forest in 2024. John Hauldren, PJ Carberry and Josh Tarum had formed Levity in 2019 and worked through local performances and releases, including the Dem Jointz collaboration “Flip It.” Their style connects thick dubstep bass, bright synthesizer melodies and deliberately playful live energy. They followed their 2024 festival breakthrough with the Escapism Vol. 1 EP. In January 2027 they return to Chicago for two nights of Snow Day 3 at Navy Pier’s Festival Hall, debuting a new live production concept called the Octobot. The venue has confirmed two different sets, making the two-night run more than a repeat performance.
