THE DJ HANGOUT / ARTIST PROFILE

Mia Koden

Mia Koden belongs to the part of club culture that measures impact in bass pressure, not social-media fireworks. The UK-based producer and selector moves through dubstep, low-end experimental sounds and rhythmic club music, finding connections between scenes that are often marketed separately. Her bookings reach from British underground rooms to European clubs and international festivals. That range matters: an artist can carry a distinctly UK bass identity without playing a narrow, predictable set. Follow the music closely and the thread is clear—space, rhythm and carefully judged weight.
