THE DJ HANGOUT / VENUE GUIDE

ROXY Prague

Set inside a former 1920s cinema building, ROXY opened as a club in 1992 and became an important address in Prague’s post-communist underground music culture. Its art-deco architectural background and central location make it especially suited to an event page that combines practical information with music history. Its calendar includes techno, house, drum & bass, electronic concerts and DJ sets. The November 14 Leftfield anniversary night pairs Orbital’s Phil Hartnoll, Leftfield and former Underworld member Darren Emerson, connecting three major strands of British electronic history.
