THE DJ HANGOUT / VERIFIED EVENT BACKGROUND
From techno roots to bass experiments: HEYZ in Wichita
The Something Different Tour reaches WAVE in Wichita on January 30, 2027. WAVE’s calendar classifies HEYZ as an electronic performer and specifies all-ages admission, 8 p.m. doors and a 9 p.m. show. The date is linked to the venue’s own EVENTIM checkout—not a tour-aggregator page.
HEYZ is Mike Hayes, a producer originally from North Carolina who built his career in Denver. His published artist biography traces a movement from techno-based releases to inventive bass and dubstep, with music distributed through mau5trap, Deadbeats, Bassrush, and other electronic labels. That genre development explains the tour’s broad electronic categorization instead of giving it an unsupported single genre label.
The primary listing names HEYZ as the act but does not confirm any supporting DJs or an individual performance start beyond the overall 9 p.m. show listing. The artist biography is presented on The DJ Hangout; visitors only leave for the date-specific official ticket purchase.
