In Osaka, Yousuke Yukimatsu developed that approach while organizing Zone Unknown parties. An appearance at DJ Nobu's Future Terror helped introduce his selection skills to a wider underground audience. Now based in Tokyo, he has become known for bold cross-genre CDJ sets and appearances at avant-garde festivals and clubs including Berghain. His Midnight is Comin' mix collection shows just how wide the reference points can be. It's adventurous DJing, but the transitions have to work—not just surprise.
