The Crystal Method grew out of 1990s American electronic music at the meeting point of breakbeats, club production and rock-scale live energy. Ken Jordan and Scott Kirkland formed the act in Las Vegas in 1993 before becoming associated with Los Angeles rave culture. Their 1997 album Vegas produced an enduring body of electronic music, while Legion of Boom and Divided by Night received Grammy nominations. Jordan later departed and Kirkland continued the project. The advertised November 14, 2026 Jannus Live event pairs The Crystal Method with Paul Oakenfold and Liquid Todd; this profile does not confuse the original duo lineup with the present touring act.
