THE DJ HANGOUT / ARTIST PROFILE

sumthin sumthin

sumthin sumthin is the project of producer Conrad Woodul, whose early musical experience included improvising percussion with household objects before learning guitar and piano. After time playing in bands, he moved toward electronic production to gain more control over the arrangement and creation of his music. His Gravitas biography emphasizes an individual sound that moves between contrasting moods. The catalog includes a remix contribution to Carbon Based Lifeform and work across the American left-field bass scene, where changes in sound design and rhythmic structure matter as much as conventional hooks.
