CHAPTER 01
The artist and musical direction
Soulacybin is a bass producer whose official biography identifies an interest in many connected styles, including dub, funk, trap, glitch and drum and bass. The project’s live sets are built around original music rather than a single tempo: the artist moves between deep 140 BPM grooves, midtempo pieces and faster breakbeats.
CHAPTER 02
Key releases and connections
His releases have appeared on Gravitas, Street Ritual, Merkaba and Shanti Planti, with recorded material including Stazi and Bug Eyes. The latter EP was presented as a focused collection of psychedelic bass sound design, using textured low-end sequences and strongly articulated percussion.
CHAPTER 03
Listening and live context
Tour history includes performances in North America and other international markets, according to his label biography. The directory can preserve that cross-border perspective while refusing to assume an event remains on sale based on an older listing. The recorded catalog is a more durable way to introduce listeners to the project.
