Some regional DJs carry more than two decks. Brooklyn-based SLOKEY adds live-looped vocals and keys to house, techno and future-funk rhythms. His Resident Advisor biography ties his beginnings to Philadelphia's underground scene and describes performances across several U.S. cities, including Trenton. That makes his story less about a single hometown and more about the work of taking a hybrid live/DJ act on the road. He belongs in the Touring category, not under Trenton locals just because he played there.
