CHAPTER 01
The artist and musical direction
Skysia is the project of producer, pianist and filmmaker Tanner Allen. His Gravitas biography describes an approach to melodic bass and chillstep that values patient arrangements, rich textures and a restrained low-frequency foundation. These elements create music that can be contemplative without losing a sense of physical rhythm.
CHAPTER 02
Key releases and connections
The catalog includes appearances on Merging Elements, Creation is Creation and the Nightvision chill compilation, connecting the project with other artists interested in organic electronic music. Rather than present these as vague genre similarities, the release records show real label relationships and collaborations.
CHAPTER 03
Listening and live context
Allen’s visual background is relevant to how the project is presented. The biography describes earlier time spent in Southern California and traveling with a mobile studio, but these are historical details rather than proof of a permanent current residence. The music offers more enduring evidence of the creative identity: delicate piano-informed ideas translated into richly produced electronic tracks.
