THE DJ HANGOUT / ARTIST PROFILE

Savej

Savej is a Louisiana-born producer who brings percussion, world instruments and nature-influenced textures into electronic bass. His label biography connects the project to the Honey Island Swamp and to an artistic interest in exploring the connections between older acoustic traditions and new production tools. The official catalog includes Solstice, Avatar, Entheogenetic and Ka, alongside collaborations such as Cielo Aya. These releases move between hip-hop-informed low frequencies and melodic or percussive elements that evoke a much broader musical environment.
