THE DJ HANGOUT / ARTIST PROFILE

Psymbionic

Psymbionic is the electronic project of John Burcham, a long-running producer and figure within the independent Gravitas Recordings community. His music spans multi-tempo bass, unusual sound design and more reflective downtempo ideas, illustrating how an artist can remain recognizable while exploring different rhythms. His catalog includes Carbon Based Lifeform and Vision, along with Biohackers with CloZee. The label biography also identifies releases through Muti Music and MalLabel and an earlier role as Gravitas label manager, giving the project significance beyond an individual performance credit.
