CHAPTER 01
The artist and the sound
Nikita, the Wicked is the stage project of Nikita Madorsky, a Louisville-born producer and DJ based in San Francisco. He describes his cinematic approach to electronic music as beautiful darkness, bringing experimental bass, trap and influences from film, visual art and hip-hop into one identifiable world.
The performer developed an interest in music production before launching the Nikita, the Wicked project in July 2020. In a 2025 interview, he explained that producing in several genres helped him develop an individual perspective. That versatility is audible in the contrast between aggressive low-end sound design and passages arranged with greater melodic or cinematic restraint.
The villain persona is theatrical but not separate from the music. It helps provide a recognizable framework for the visual art, recordings and live performances. His professional ballroom-dancing background contributes to that presentation, giving his stage presence a physical energy beyond the traditional DJ booth.
CHAPTER 02
Recordings and the wider scene
The artist’s discography includes the concept EP Blinded By Vanity, released through Helix Records, and collaborations involving Louis The Child, Darby and other electronic producers. Elements Festival also documents remixes for artists including NGHTMRE, Dabin and Louis The Child.
His 2025 festival appearances included Lost Lands and Hulaween, among other U.S. events, according to organizer material and interviews. Festival history provides context for the project’s growth, but it is not a substitute for a verified date in the Shows database. Each advertised appearance still requires its own venue evidence.
CHAPTER 03
What listeners and DJs can learn
An Asheville performance in November 2026 is already listed in The DJ Hangout’s verified event collection. It gives readers a direct route from the biography into an event page without requiring a speculative tour calendar.
For aspiring producers, the most useful part of Nikita’s story may be his willingness to combine disciplines. Electronic sound design, film, visual artwork, sampling and performance all become parts of the same language. The lesson is not to invent a costume and stop there; it is to build an artistic concept that is distinctive enough to carry the music with it.
