THE DJ HANGOUT / ARTIST PROFILE

Nicole Moudaber

Nicole Moudaber's route to techno runs through several cities that rarely share a single nightlife story. Growing up in Nigeria exposed her to intricate African rhythms. In the 1990s she helped develop Beirut's club culture before relocating to London in 2000, where she continued promoting events and later moved deeper into DJing and production. Her music has reached labels including Drumcode and Nervous, while performances span intimate clubs and global festivals. The thread connecting those places isn't geography; it's the insistence that the dance floor should be a space for freedom and expression.
