CHAPTER 01
Origins and the artist’s sound
Megan Hamilton is an electronic producer and vocalist whose work draws together bass, house grooves, funk and hip-hop. Her Gravitas biography places her studio in Minneapolis and emphasizes the versatility of an artist who can both produce tracks and perform vocals over them.
The catalog includes Small Viktories and Feed The Animals, along with remix work connected to Gravitas releases such as Moon Cloud. The combination of vocal hooks, playful bass and rhythmically strong percussion gives the music a range that extends beyond one electronic subgenre.
CHAPTER 02
Recordings and development
The recordings to explore include Small Viktories; Feed The Animals; Moon Cloud remix. These titles are grounded in the artist’s label history and are starting points for listening rather than claims about a current chart position.
Her performance history includes Lightning in a Bottle, ARISE and Wavespell, plus shared stages with artists such as The Glitch Mob, Big Gigantic and CloZee. Those are useful career markers but do not replace a current venue-specific ticket confirmation.
CHAPTER 03
Why the project matters
Hamilton’s profile is especially valuable for DJs who are also songwriters. Her work makes it clear that melodic and vocal decisions can be as defining as the sound of a bass line. A broader directory should make the recorded songs and collaborator credits easy to discover while avoiding misleading assumptions about upcoming shows.
