THE DJ HANGOUT / ARTIST PROFILE

Korolova

Korolova's rise connects two worlds of modern dance music: club bookings and the filmed DJ set. The Ukrainian producer spent years developing her musical approach before the Korolova project reached a much wider audience through online performances and melodic records. Her releases have appeared through labels including Armada and Get Physical, and her DJ bookings have extended to international festivals and clubs. Rather than build sets around a single heavy drop, she favors melodic tension and sustained momentum. The videos introduce people to the music; the challenge is making that same energy work in a room full of actual dancers.
