THE DJ HANGOUT / ARTIST PROFILE

Jamback

Dutch house producer Jamback built early traction the way dance records have traveled for decades: through other DJs playing them. Releases on Whippin and Airtime caught the attention of selectors including Chris Stussy, Archie Hamilton and Toman, followed by the Roaring 20's EP on PIV. His Coin Drop EP pushed further into the minimal and deep-house circuit. That sequence matters. For an emerging producer, a respected DJ's support is useful, but repeat releases that work across different rooms are what make the reputation durable. Jamback's music focuses on tight, energetic grooves rather than trying to overwhelm a set with effects.
