THE DJ HANGOUT / ARTIST PROFILE

Itz Willard

Before Itz Willard ever stepped behind the decks, he already knew how much work it took to make a dance floor come alive. Willard Wright helped organize dozens of Tampa Bay parties through Deep Wave Sessions, learning the scene from the promoter’s side of the booth. Then came an unexpected challenge: learn to DJ in just fifteen days. His first set, a back-to-back appearance at Sal Y Mar Rooftop Bar in Tampa, launched a new chapter in 2024. Today his story is a reminder that a local scene runs on more than headliners. It runs on the people who build the nights, bring the crowd together and eventually find their own voice in the music.
