Honey Dijon's story begins in Chicago, where house wasn't a nostalgic genre name. It was the sound being invented around her. She learned from the city's DJ culture, with figures including Derrick Carter and Mark Farina helping shape her approach, before carrying those instincts into New York clubs and an international career. A Honey Dijon set draws on the full room: disco, house, the unexpected record that changes the mood without breaking the groove. Her records tell another part of the story. The Best of Both Worlds arrived in 2017, Black Girl Magic followed in 2022, and her production work contributed to Beyoncé's Renaissance.
