THE DJ HANGOUT / ARTIST PROFILE

George Clanton

George Clanton is an American producer, singer and independent label founder whose records connect sample-informed vaporwave, 1980s synth textures, shoegaze and emotionally charged live electronica. His early work used the names ESPRIT and Mirror Kisses, and recordings under his own name include 100% Electronica (2015), Slide (2018), and Ooh Rap I Ya (2023). Clanton operates 100% Electronica and has helped organize gatherings around underground electronic music. His booking agency confirms a two-city Arizona run in November 2026: Monday November 23 at La Rosa in Tucson and Tuesday November 24 at the Nile Theater in Mesa. La Rosa’s primary ticket entry names Valgur as support and advertises 6:30 p.m. doors and a 7:30 p.m. show. The Mesa listing confirms 8 p.m. but does not independently name the same supporting act. This synthesizer-driven live electronic program qualifies for The DJ Hangout even when it is not billed as a turntable DJ set.
