Daily Bread

Daily Bread is the electronic production identity of Rhett Whatley, an Atlanta-associated musician who draws from jazz guitar, crate digging, vintage soul samples, intricate beat programming and deep bass. His music is electronic even when arrangements borrow from old hip-hop records and instrumental funk. A run of releases including On The Daily, Invisible Cinema (2023), and the Flash Flood II mixtape established a recognizable electro-soul sound. His Vanishing Point Tour has independently confirmed December 2026 dates at The National in Richmond, The Orange Peel in Asheville, The NorVa in Norfolk, The Ritz in Raleigh and The Pinnacle in Nashville. These five events have separate official tickets; two Virginia shows and the Nashville bill identify individual support performers. His live presentation mixes sample-led electronic production with festival-scale bass; exact support or stage timing is not assumed where organizers have not provided it.
