CHAPTER 01
The artist and musical direction
COFRESI produces and performs electronic music using a combined DJ, digital percussion and acoustic drum setup. The Gravitas artist biography emphasizes how live playing is central to the project, not simply decorative accompaniment behind recordings. That creates opportunities for improvisation and variation within a show.
CHAPTER 02
Key releases and connections
His recorded catalog includes CODA and contributions to Psymbionic’s Carbon Based Lifeform Remixed, connecting his own production to an independent bass community. The sound is built from melodic electronic elements and shifting percussion, allowing the music to feel rhythmically active without depending on a single predictable dance-floor pattern.
CHAPTER 03
Listening and live context
For a venue or event directory, COFRESI is an important example of a hybrid live act. A simple DJ genre category does not fully describe the way acoustic percussion changes the stage setup, the transitions and the role of performance. The artist’s individual show page should still verify the actual event format rather than imply every appearance uses an identical configuration.
