CHAPTER 01
The Miami connection
Benda is the producer alias of Niv Ben-David, a musician associated with Miami and a branch of dubstep designed to translate across large festival sound systems. His productions rely on sharp rhythmic changes, aggressive synthesizer design and controlled bursts of low-frequency energy. They are not subtle records, but the craft depends on keeping each impact distinct inside a crowded arrangement.
He received early guidance from Borgore, according to Monstercat’s artist biography, and later built a catalog linked to several other well-known heavy-bass performers. Collaborations can be important for an emerging producer because they are opportunities to solve a creative problem with someone whose habits and musical instincts differ from their own.
CHAPTER 02
Hostile Homicide, Beat The Block and recognizable tracks
The Hostile Homicide EP and Beat The Block EP appeared in 2023, with the latter helping set up the producer’s first headline tour. That year’s work also sits beside recordings involving Borgore, Excision and Sullivan King. Individual tracks named in Monstercat’s biography include Snake Shot, Tinnitus and Hyperdrive, a useful guide to how his collaborations sound in different contexts.
The release history illustrates a familiar path through the electronic industry: establish a consistent production signature, develop trusted relationships and move from support appearances toward headline opportunities. It is not simply a question of making louder records. It is the accumulation of music that other DJs can recognize and confidently place in a set.
CHAPTER 03
Festival scale and the next room
Insomniac and Monstercat cite Benda’s appearances at events including EDC Las Vegas, Hard Summer and Lost Lands. Those festivals attract intense, knowledgeable bass audiences. The live challenge is to create a set that holds attention across a full slot rather than depending on one recognizable collaboration or special effect.
A Utah research lead pairs Benda back-to-back with Vastive. The event remains in The DJ Hangout’s unpublished research queue, so no official in-house ticket link is claimed here. This biography lays the groundwork for its eventual event connection while preserving the separation between artist history and future shows that still require venue verification.
