THE DJ HANGOUT / ARTIST PROFILE

ANNA

ANNA runs two seemingly different musical lives—and that's what makes her story interesting. The Brazilian-born producer built an international techno career with releases on labels including Drumcode and Afterlife, as well as the 2019 track Forever Ravers with Miss Kittin. She then began exploring ambient music more deeply instead of repeating the same club formula forever. After living in Barcelona, Resident Advisor now lists Lisbon as her base. For DJs and producers, the useful lesson is that changing the tempo doesn't require abandoning musical identity. In ANNA's case, the atmosphere connects the club records and the quieter work.
