THE DJ HANGOUT / ARTIST PROFILE

Amelie Lens

Amelie Lens isn't only building sets. She's building a whole environment around them. The Belgian techno DJ turned her EXHALE event series into a label, radio platform and international club presence, alongside her Lenske imprint. That matters in a business where artists are often judged only by the next festival poster. The music is urgent, hard-edged techno, sometimes punctuated by her own vocals; the larger ambition is a network where younger producers and audiences can take part. From major European venues to Ibiza residencies, EXHALE has become as recognizable a name as the artist behind it.
